The research project is being conducted in conjunction with the Holography Laboratory, Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser, Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas (Greece). Structural analyses are conducted under the supervision of Dr Vivi Tornari using digital holographic speckle pattern interferometry (DHSPI). The measurements are made as part of the laboratory tests performed by the research team using the new simulation device.  The aim of the collaborative research is the early recognition and visualization of structural changes occurring during the transport of fragile paintings.
